About Yongyi Neathercoat

Yongyi Neathercoat

Chartered Financial Planner, APFS

I am a UK based Chartered Financial Planner and have worked in the financial industry in the UK for over 15 years. In 2018, I was awarded the Later Life Adviser Accreditation (LLAA), this is the recognised benchmark for advice skills of advisers who specialise in later life planning.

One of the highest qualified financial planners in the UK, I have gained an excellent understanding and in-depth knowledge to even the most complex of situations in order to help my clients achieve their financial aims and ambitions.

I aim to provide personalised, outstanding advice and excellent service to my clients. My goal is to help my clients achieving success, whatever they might be. Creating wealth for people is very satisfying, but the most important is being there for my clients when they need support – whether that is job loss, illness, death, divorce. It is also satisfying to know that I have thought about these challenges and ensured, through careful planning, that those left behind are secure.

The future is always unknown, our goals and circumstances inevitably change over time. Personalised financial planning can help individuals and families have the best opportunity to ensure security and financial freedom in their later lives as well as their working lives.

I provide highly regarded expertise in Inheritance Tax, Retirement and Investment planning in addition to reviewing existing pension provisions. Being a pension specialist, pension plays a big part in my Inheritance Tax planning since the changes in 2015.

A Mandarin speaker, I work as a trustee of Camden Chinese Community Centre in London in my spare time. I also serve as a committee member of our local business association to support our local business owners.

Living in the beautiful South Down National Park with my family, a cat and some chickens, I am passionate in helping to preserve our beautiful landscape.

Prestigious industry status recognises the value I place on my development and gives clients the confidence that they are supported by one of the UK’s leading wealth professionals.
